Tali Ayer a traditional stone built country house is located in a central position in Nairn. Guests are assured of a warm welcome from David and family and enjoy a hearty breakfast and a comfortable stay in a house which was built in Victorian times for a leading business family.
There are a range of bedrooms with modern en-suite bathrooms, which, following extensive renovation and redecoration, offer a high standard of accommodation. The rooms are furnished with a range of furniture made from oak or mahogany with a selection of beds; Super King-size to single. Bathrooms, which all have showers and some with baths including a traditional cast slipper bath are either tiled or clad in granite and have quiet running extractor fans, touch and automatic defrost mirrors and movement sensitive lighting.
Several of the rooms also have traditional writing desks and suitable lighting, which in common with all rooms have WiFi and Freeview TV. Traditional Victorian fireplaces with their unusually colored tiles are found in many rooms, which highlights efforts to preserve original features of the house.
The dining room is traditionally decorated with oil paintings and old prints of Highland scenes and the style of dress warn by different clans. In this setting continental and traditional breakfast is provided and arrangements can be made for early breakfasts and packed lunches.

Nairn is in an ideal location for those indulging in country pursuits, whether shooting, fishing or hill walking. With two championship golf courses and a short drive from many more Nairn's position is ideal. Drying facilities are provided to all guests, which is a necessity with our varying weather and the large secluded garden and patio offers an ideal place to have afternoon tea, when the weather is suitable after a day of golf, walking or touring. Alternatively there is a spacious lounge. The house also provides ample off road free parking.
