Also recommended are: Guinach House, Tel. 01887 820251, a family run country house hotel in a lovely setting by the Birks and with a superb restaurant (which is expensive and some would say a little heavy on the cream); and the very friendly.

In the centre of town is the Palace Hotel which has its own bar with ceilidh live music on the weekends. Mainly two star accommodation, but friendly and right in the heart of the action, so to speak.
