Glenfarg

Glenfarg village is situated on the southern end of the narrow glen which offers the picturesque route through the Ochil Hills in Scotland. The glen is just four miles long and at the northern half twist and turns with the course of the Farg river. This settlement in the region was the hamlet of Arngask which is just few hundred yards to the east of Glenfarg. The village was connected with rail route in 1890 after the North British Railway opened a line to Perth later the Glenfarg Station came into existence which now is not functioning.

This charming village boasts a refreshing atmosphere and natural sceneries along its lush green countryside. There are beautiful parks and bowling greens with tranquil environment which attracts many walkers. For tourists there are great staying options with hotels and cottages providing comfortable stay and luxurious amenities. This hotel dominates the village as it was built in 1890 to serve the railway.

Glenfarg is located superbly just thirty minutes drive from Edinburgh the buzzing capital Scotland which make it easy accessible and serves for a happening night.
