Kentallen

Kentallen

Kentallen is situated on the shores of Loch Leven, on the A828 between Oban and Fort William. It lies just south of Glencoe, Ballachulish and Loch Leven.

Kentallen can be reached from the south around Glasgow, Loch Lomond and through Crianlarich. An alternative route is to use the M73, A80, M80, A84, A85, A82 Rannoch Moor and Glencoe. There are many beautiful walks here.

Some of the places to visit are Ardsheal opposite Kentallen, Glencoe, Rannoch Moor, Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis and Oban. At Fort William one can board the Jacobite steam railway (The Hogwarts Express) which operates its steamer to Mallaig. Kinochleven which is famous for its Ice Factor is not too far. Glenfinnan, on the way to Mallaig, celebrates Bonny Prince Charlie and his journey from there to Derby in 1745 in his effort to retake the British throne. Just north of Oban is the Oban Sea Life Centre and Seal Sanctuary.
