Eating
Aside from the hotels in town, one of the best places to eat is the Boat House, Tel. 455469, 2 miles east of Nairn in the little village of Auldearn (prices mid-range).
If you fancy a fish supper, try Friar Tuck's, at 30 Harbour St. For a hot snack there's Asher's Bakery, 2 Bridge St, which is recommended, and run by the same folk as the one in Inverness.
