The Balmoral Hotel is located on Princes Street, in Edinburgh's main shopping area and next to Waverley Station.. It is a traditional Victorian Hotel, restored & reopened in 1991 & featuring modern, sophisticated facilities It was voted 'Scotland's Top Urban Day Spa' in Condé Nast Traveller's 2007 Readers' Spa Awards. The Balmoral is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
The Balmoral Hotel Bedrooms
The rooms and suites at the Balmoral combine contemporary elegance with a strong sense of history and charm. Each bedroom has its own characteristics borrowed from our Scottish heritage. Several bedrooms and suites have magnificent views of Edinburgh Castle, the Sir Walter Scott Monument and Princes Street. We do recommend you contact the hotel if it's for a special occasion and they can suggest a room. All the bedrooms were fully refurbished in the hotel's recent £7 million refurbishment programme.

If you don’t stay at the Balmoral, you will not experience the true Edinburgh. The minute you walk in the door you are welcomed, they greet you by name your entire stay. The rooms are exceptional and are designed for your comport. The food and spa are both excellent.......... We could not have asked for more..
