The hotel itself while not what I would consider to be a five star hotel (more like an average four star) was the type of pleasant place to stay that we had hoped for. The spa and pool were quiet and relaxing and the treatments available there were top quality. The breakfast was among the best ….. he variety and quality was excellent. Our standard room, although a little small, was very comfortable. The lack of air conditioning made for some restless nights…. The water in the bathroom, although warm enough, was never "hot". The staff throughout the hotel were very pleasant and helpful and the location more than made up for things.
