The Howard Hotel is located in the Georgian area of Edinburgh, the hotel is always classified in the AA's Top 200 Hotels in Britain and recently achieved a Scottish Boutique Hotel Special Commendation from the Scottish Hotel of the Year Awards 2007.
The Howard Hotel Bedrooms
The rooms at the Howard are furnished to a very high standard. The eighteen rooms or furnished in the Georgian style. Each room is slightly different so we do recommend you contact the hotel if it's foe a special occasion and they can suggest a room.
Many of the rooms have wonderful views of the New Town down to the Firth of the Forth.
Their superior rooms offer a more spacious alternative to the luxury double rooms, each superior room has additional wardrobe space, most have king size beds and a seating area, suitable for enjoying afternoon tea or our special in room dining service.

I travelled to Edinburgh at the end of April for my 50th birthday with a friend. I did quite a bit of homework on hotels and after reading the reviews from TripAdvisor website decided this would be our hotel. Well what a great choice, the room was large and overlooked their courtyard which was very quiet.
