Sheep Heid Inn
An 18th- century coaching inn that makes a pleasant stop for a refreshing drink after a walk over Arthur's Seat.
You could make a day of it and include Duddingston Loch and village and lunch here in the restaurant upstairs or in the bar. Either way it's good. In summer there's the added attraction of the open-air barbecue.
Open Mon-Wed and Sun till 2300, Thu-Sat till 2400.
