Aside from the department stores: Jenners on Princes Street and Harvey Nichols on St Andrews's Square, we can recommend Boudiche on Frederick Street [1] which offers very slinky and comfortably sexy lingerie. 15 Frederick Street, New Town (226 5255) opens 10am-6pm Mon-Wed, Thur-noon, Fri-Sat 10am-7pm, Sun 4pm.

Other stops are Jane Davidson on Thistle Street which includes lingerie in its range of high class and price fashions.

The La Jolie Madame, the cities largest independent retailer of lingerie, stocking nightwear, swimwear and also bridal undies for all shapes and sizes. (447 6715)

A couple of people swear by TK Maxx down London Road which offers rock bottom priced lingerie from top labels. It is pot luck whether there is anything that you will like.
