Princes Street Garden is a public park right in the centre of Edinburgh, Scotland. Set up in 1820 by the draining of the Nor Loch and the creation of the New Town, it is popular venue for many events and concerts.

Another site of a drained loch and once a foul smelling swap before it was spanned by the North Bridge, the Princes Street Gardens run the full length of Princes Street, that separates the Old and New Towns and provides a leafy view of the city. To the east is the soaring Scott Monument, and to the west is the summer floral clock. For tired children Princes Street Gardens will appreciate a break from relentless sightseeing at the play park, or just running around on the grass. The stage hosts a Jazz festival and has live music through the summer.
