Palmerston Lodge Hostel (Hostel)

Palmerston Lodge is the only Grade A listed Georgian building in Scotland that is used for tourist accommodation.

The entrance and hallway feature magnificent hand crafted wooden architecture and a stunning fireplace. The spiral carved stairway leads to the second floor which boasts an outstanding domed roof which is admired by everyone.
Palmerston Lodge Hostel is only 10 minutes walking distance from the centre of Edinburgh and Princes St, and the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle.

Edinburgh Airport, St Andrews Bus Station, and both Waverley and Haymarket train stations are just a short bus/taxi ride from the lodge.

They have a variety of rooms which include singles, doubles, twins, family rooms and dormitory style rooms.
