Arisaig Hotel

The hotel dates back to the Jacobite era, and was originally built as a Coaching Inn around 1720.

Arsaig is at the western end of the Morar Peninsula - a little village with beaches around and the road to Rhu Peninsula is great for seal spotting. Cruising to the islands of Rum, Eigg and Muck is another thing to do while at Arsaig.

Arsaig was the birthplace of Long John Silver, who worked in the construction of the lighthouse built by the father of Robert Louis Stevenson, who later on immortalised him in his classic Treasure Island.
