Here you will find our selection of Fintry Hotels in Central Scotland.
Fintry is a pretty, small village nestled in the strath of the Endrick Water in the Campsie Fells some 35km north of Glasgow. Fintry is a Church of Scotland Parish in the Presbytery of Stirling. The parish minister for Fintry is shared with Balfron with the Manse located there.
It has a close association with the Culcreuch Castle, which is still in use. After extensive changes and extensions it now serves as the upmarket Culcreuch Castle Hotel. A hand-painted Chinese wallpaper dating from 1723 is its main attraction. It is also said to house, in its roof space, the largest colony of bats in Britain.
