Montrose Hotels
Montrose is a sea-port town in Angus and is famous for its land-locked two-mile square lagoon called The Basin. The Basin is flooded and emptied twice a day by the tides and is a reserve for geese, swans and other birds.
The Montrose Museum and Art Gallery is worth a dekko and outside the building is a scultpture of a boy by sculptor William Lamb. Other places of interest is the House of Dun filled with periodic furniture and art.
