North Queensferry Hotels

Cowering beneath the Forth bridges is the small fishing village of North Queensferry and was the landing point of the ferry from South Queensferry and nineteenth century bathing resort. The bridges overshadow everything in North Queensferry.

North Queensferry is thought to have taken its name from Saint Margaret of Scotland, the wife of King Malcolm III, who is said to have established the village to ensure there would be regular ferry crossings across the Firth of Forth for the benefit of pilgrims travelling to St Andrews.
