St Fillans Hotels
Here is our selection of hotels in St Fillans in Perthshire.
This small beautiful village lies in the central highlands region of Scotland towards the eastern end of Loch Earn, on the northern side. The Loch Earn area is said to be one of the prettiest locations in Scotland and is also one of the country’s main centre for inland watersports.
The environment and natural beauty of the place is St Fillans biggest asset. In addition to being a place with diverse flora and fauna, the place also gifts recreational opportunities including activities like river and loch fishing, hill-walking, cycling and golf.
To the east of the village visitors can spot the ruins of the antique 7th Pictish fort of Dundurn, once a stronghold of MacNeishes. There is a large underground hydro-electric power station here, hewn out of rock. The village attracts a lot of anglers and towards the south shore of the loch at Ardtrostan, one can spot a caravan park and extensive marina. The ruins of St Fillans church can be found between St Fillans and Dundurn.
