Taynuilt is a small village in Argyll at the western entrance to the narrow Pass of Brander. Taynuilt has two main beaches. Airds Bay is a pebble bay with beautiful views to the Duirinnis hill and Bonawe.  Once on the loch you get panoramic views of the loch, Bonawe, Ben Cruachan and on to Connel.

Just before the village, at Bridge of Awe, is a sign for Inverawe Fisheries Country Park, where you can take fishing lessons, learn about traditional smoking techniques, or go on a nature trail. Walks around Loch Awe is must-do while you're in this part of Scotland.
