Glengorm Castle

Sometimes occupied by house parties but also a spectacularly romantic B&B on the island of Mull near Tobermory. Lovely rooms with open fires to keep you warm. Loves your dog too!

Facing north across the Hebrides from Mull, this castle is romantic for all the right reasons: it is has a lovely remote location and it is what it is. There is no bling and false boutiqueyness. It is not the domain of some hotel owner who wants everything velvet. It is a country castle and a home with spacious rooms, member of the family service feeling and a wonderful landscape to enjoy.

There is nothing more romantic than the feeling after a long walk a deux across the rolling landscape and along the sea-shore and then being lit by your own open fire in the bedroom.

Availability varies and different rooms are available. There are some self-atering apartments as well.

Mull of course is Scotland in miniature and so you get a pocket experience in a few days.
