Scotland was a strongly catholic country until the reformation when over the course of centuries Scotland became notably methodist. The museum charts the rise and fall of catholicism with a collection that spans over 500 years
Housed in the old junior boys school this museum is home of the Scottish Catholic Heritage Collection.
There are magnificent paintings, church textiles, sacred silver and Jacobite memorabilia and the children will enjoy the computer which contains fun facts and games.
