Customer Reviews of Clava Cottage nr Inverness - Sleeps 2-4

st comment: Fixtures & fittings superb in Clava Cottage, great location for the highlands, 1 small shop nearby "1/2 mile", no fresh veg but ok for milk and bread etc. The hosts Jill & Gregor lovely people, we will be returning to Clava Cottage without a doubt. May 2012.

nd comment: The cottage & the hospitality from the owners far exceeded our expectations. It is in a lovely quiet location, very private with fantastic views across the hills. May 2012.

rd comment: Excellent place to stay with lovely little touches. Can highly recommend! We brought our dog along, and he loved it too! April 2012.

th comment: The cottage was excellent and everything we could have wish for, we felt like were home from home, had a fabulous time and enjoyed watching the lambs from the kitchen window, the eggs from the farm were excellent. The owner were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble, the welcome food pack is a great help and a nice touch. I would highly recommend this cottage and its wonderful surrounds. April 2012.

th comment: Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful setting. Fixtures and fittings are brand new and the decor is very tasteful. It is situated on a family run farm with a 4,000 year old cairn on the doorstep and striking views of pine forests and mountains. You feel as though you’re in the middle of nowhere yet with a ten minute drive you’re in the city of Inverness. The owners were respectful of our privacy and didn’t intrude unless they were called upon. I really couldn’t recommend the accommodation and surrounding area highly enough. We went on beautiful walks, saw ancient monuments and ruined castles, found fossils, saw deer, rabbits and (we think) an eagle. There are so many attractions within striking distance that never struggled for something to occupy our time. On the couple of days that we decided to stay in just ambling around the farm and enjoying the accommodation were worth the journey alone. June 2011.
