The Highland Folk Museum is a great place to take the kids to experience the lifestyle of the Scottish highlands over the last three centuries, based on the rural life in the Highlands. The mile long site moves from a 1700s township to life in the 1960s. There is a cafe and shop as well as children's playground.
There are many exhibits that focus on Agriculture, crafts, trades, buildings, arts, sports, textiles and even archives and photographs.
