This compact roadside detached cottage has been modernised, is well furnished and offers excellent value for money.

Situated on the most northerly road on the ’Winged Island’, enjoying lovely views, the holiday property is just 1.5 miles from Uig - the Western Isles Ferry Terminal. Boats for sightseeing or fishing can be hired in Uig.

Flora MacDonald’s grave and various museums are close by, as is an outdoor centre where bikes, canoes and wind surfing boards can be hired. Enjoy walking or climbing the jagged peaks of the Quirang. Linicro is a crofting community on the Trotternish Peninsula, the owner’s croft reaches up to the hills behind.

Shop, pub and restaurant 1.5 miles.

      The story of Flora Macdonald is well known and her courageous support for Bonnie Prince Charlie. She is buried in Kilmuir Cemetary with a cross as a monument. A lovely location with the sea in the distance. Johnson's epitaph remains as moving as ever.
