The Tattoo - music, colour and spectacle from home and abroad, set against the incomparable backcloth of Edinburgh Castle, featuring the Massed Pipes and Drums, Military Bands, display teams and dancers from the four corners of the earth - and of course the poignant notes of the Lone Piper high on the Castle ramparts.

The Hotel

The George Hotel is situated right in the heart of Edinburgh on the popular and chic George Street and is an ideal location for exploring Edinburgh’s many attractions, shopping and discovering the area’s bars. A beautiful Grade 2 listed building, the George recently underwent a multimillion pound renovation project. Formal restaurant dining is available; or, for a more relaxed experience, you can enjoy the Tempus Bar, which offers light meals and snacks as well as an extensive drinks menu.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made by email to the email address sending the confirmation. Seven weeks notice is required for any cancellation. Cancellations received before that date there will be a 90% refund. Within the seven weeks - no refund. 
Full payment is required at the time of booking. Please note rates are based on 2 people sharing a room - single person supplements apply.

Please note that once a package has been confirmed, should you wish to alter the dates or details of your package booking, there would be a £10 per person administration fee.

We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance which covers eventualities such as package cancellations.
