Climbing
Climbing in Scotland
Climbing may not be the typical activity for your average stag party. However take a look at some of the facilities available and you may want to give it a try.
Stag & Hen Daytime | Stag & Hen Night Out | Transport | Stag & Hen Where to Stay | Enquiry Form | Edinburgh Stag Weekends | Edinburgh Hen Weekends | Glasgow Stag Weekends | Glasgow Hen Weekends
You can do your climbing inside at Ratho or down in Granton (in Edinburgh) or you can venture out into the Highlands, Trossachs or at a pinch the Borders. Elsewhere we have a guide to climbing the Munros in Scotland.
Indoor climbing
The climbing walls at Ratho are absolutely amazing whatever your climbing standard. They have been designed to test climbers in a range of ways. For stag parties, it is a very taxing and fun couple of hours which will certainly build up a thirst. If you are visiting Edinburgh for a winter stag weekend, a morning at Ratho will be very good fun
Outdoor Climbing in the Scottish Highlands
Climbing outdoors is a little more uncertain than indoors because of weather and scotland's generally changeable conditions. Base yourselves in Aberfeldy or closer to Fort William and you are set for a wonderful weekend in the hills. We definately recommend that we get you a local guide and that you plan for the weakest climber.
