Falconry
Falconry
This is a real call to nature, not only the Falconry but the surroundings, beautiful. Even though the birds are captive they never lose the skills of the wild and this is what you’ll get to witness. The beauty of the birds can not be explained unless you are there.
Stag & Hen Daytime | Stag & Hen Night Out | Transport | Stag & Hen Where to Stay | Enquiry Form | Edinburgh Stag Weekends | Edinburgh Hen Weekends | Glasgow Stag Weekends | Glasgow Hen Weekends
The full day or half day course gives you a chance to participate in the feeding and care of these fantastic creatures for the day. Wild Wild Wild is the best way to describe the hover and then the swoop for prey I was speechless for the first time in many years.
Most Falconry centres across Scotland provide the opportunities for handling falcons, hawks, owls and eagles.[1]
You can have tuition to learn how to deal and train with Falcons, this certainly becoming more popular. The experience of hands on will give you a new respect for these birds that no documentary on the Discovery channel could.
Humans have worked as a team with birds of prey for over 4000 years and its amazing to watch these birds hunt in their natural surroundings.
There are Falconry Centres across Scotland which means easy access if you are in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Dundee and Aberdeen.
