Location: Glasgow Craighat Wood, Craighat, Killearn
- Directions from Glasgow :
- Junction 17 off M8
- Follow A82 to Anniesland Cross
- Take A739 then A809 to Bearsden
- Follow A809 North – Stockiemuir Road
Entrance of site is on the right hand side, 1 mile north of Stockiemuir (If you reach the turn off for Killearn (B834) you have gone too far).
Turn right when you see the Skirmish banners and signs. Drive down the track for 400 yards.

They have a large number of games to test your skills and as Skimish is one of the pioneers in Scotland for Paintball you know that you will be well looked after.
Paintball Games That Are Available
Safe Zone
All Paintball Arena have a safe zone to tell everyone of the previous games triuphms when you ran through the whole of the opposition team like Kevin Cosner in Dance With Wolves and not been shot once. It is also a chance to catch your breath and grab a refreshment.
Village Game
Your Village has been taken and you head for the closest settlement to steal food and their village. You thought the village was disserted but as entering you realise that you are now confronting an elite force which has been left to secure the explosives which have been left. The oppositions objective is to protect the explosives as all means. So rip that shirt up and wrapp the band around your head you need to be in full rambo mode if you are to succeed this village challenge.
Bunker Hill
Stop the enemy from imbedding themselves in what could be a very strong military strong hold at the top of the hill. Hidden by machine gun bunkers up on high their object is to stay strong and hold you off, your objective is to storm the hill and take the strong hold, the whole war depends on this one platform. Use you skill and cunning to come up with an alternative accent on the beast that is know as "Bunker Hill"
Beach Landing
Test yourself with a mock beach landing in training for the real assault on the enemy. The point being to overthrow the regiment on the land and prove that you can last and handle the onslaught of paintball pellets being fired at you. If you get hit you much return to the beach landing start point and wait for the call of reinforcements.
Last Man Standing
This is my Favourite, you unlucky because of the poor visibility walk your regiment into an enemy scout camp oh no!! Literally it is back to back as the fog clears it is time to run find a strong hold and shoot it out. This really is last man standing and that does not count if you just go and hide. It is all about pace and accuracy of your shot.
Speedball
They have stolen the statue that holds the honour of your nation and you want it back before people discover it is missing. Your job as the leader of the strongest regiment is to retrieve the statue from the emperor's grasp and return it to your camp so the honour of the nation is retained
Stockade
You lost the flag to the enemy! The Emperor is furious; but quite happy to sacrifice some lowly paintballers in an attempt to retrieve the ancient relic he so desires. The enemy have a fortified stockade, your have but a few dedicated (or desperate) men, take out the enemy, and recapture the flag.
Badlands
Something strange is going on. Both camps now have a copy of the ancient relic, and both claim theirs is authentic. The emperor is taking no chances and knows that even if his relic is real the people will not stand for uncertainty. The enemy has come to the same conclusion and is staging an offensive to capture your flag. Capture the enemy’s replica before the people revolt, but don’t forget to defend you own flag as well!
Assassination
The way to win the war in the quickest and most brutal fashion is to assassinate and humiliate the oppositions leader. The problem is that they have exactly the same plan so it is a rush to end the war through the assassination of the oppositions leader, it is death to the end and the honour our your army is in your hands protect the leader to the bitter end.

What Equipment You Need To Bring
It does get cold if you jump into a big puddle trying to escape the barrage of pellets flying at your mask so it is probably best if you put on something warm under your Camouflage suit and make sure you have a couple of layers. The next is shoes that you don't mind getting dirty as to get that perfect shot to win that game you will have to crawl into the a bush hide for 1 hour and then pop out in a one man ambush to win and take the spoils.
