St Andrews is famed throughout the World as being the home of Golf, however there is much more to explore in this delightful town, as we will discover on this enjoyable excursion.

Departing from Glasgow we will soon be crossing the Firth of Forth by the graceful Forth Road Bridge as we journey into the Kingdom of Fife.
Our scenic route takes us along the coast towards the East Neuk Of Fife, where we will make a stop in either Pittenweem or Anstruther, two of the most attractive fishing villages in Scotland.

On our arrival in St Andrews there will be a short orientation tour of the town before enjoying an extended stop during which time you can explore the many attractions from the ruins of the 13th Century castle to Scotland’s oldest university. Of course St Andrews is renowned as the home of Golf and the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, the games ruling body for much of the World, is located overlooking the Old Course.
The R&A organises the Open Championship which has taken place in St Andrews on many occasions. You can learn more about the game and the important role that this community has played in its development by visiting the British Golf Museum.

From St Andrews we will travel to South Queensferry, a delightful little town with panoramic views over the Firth of Forth. During our stop you can enjoy a stroll in the town or perhaps visit the Hawes Inn, featured in Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous novel 'Kidnapped'.
