Customer Reviews of Buccleuch Cottage, Ecclefechan sleeps 6

st comment: This is a fantastic cottage located within Ecclefechan. It is extremely well equipped, and the two local supermarkets have everything you need. The local hotel is very good for a meal or a drink, and is very reasonably priced. Dec 2011.

nd comment: I have to say this is one of the best if not the best places I’ve stayed in this country. The accommodation was superb, we booked because we were looking for a single story cottage, this wasn’t, it has twin room upstairs, which we didnt need. The layout is great, there is enough rooms to spread out and read, watch TV or play a game. We were made very welcome on arrival, everything had been thought of to make the stay very, very comfortable, and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend to family and friends, we are hoping to book for 2 weeks next year, hope this was useful. Sept 2011.

rd comment: I cannot fault this wonderful cottage. Everything you need is provided and the decor is faultless. The owners could not be more helpful and only a phone call away if you need anything (which you won’t). June 2011.

th comment: Excellent for dogs with good sized garden and garage. local hotels dog friendly.good local walks from the cottage. Feb 2011.

th comment: Very clean, relaxing, home from home. Everything there that was needed generally. Aug 2010.

th comment: Charming and beautifully appointed. Even on wet days we enjoyed watching the birds in the garden from the conservatory. The two lounges, plus conservatory gave us the added advantage of doing our ’own thing’ - and two televisions meant there were no arguments during Wimbledon week! June 2010.

th comment: Nicely appointed. Particular benefit was the conservatory. June 2010.

th comment: The cottage was short of nothing the kitchen was better equipted than mine at home.I was even able to fined a needle and thread. May 2010.

th comment: The directions to the property were very good, we were met by the owner and he showed us around explaining the heating, lighting etc. The furnishings were very comfortable, the bedrooms were beautifully presented. We could not fault the property and to have a garage to house our car was brilliant. Dec 2009.
