This extremely well appointed self contained holiday property forms a wing of the owner’s house, delightfully situated on the outskirts of the village of Aboyne in the heart of Royal Deeside, away from main roads and with marvellous uninterrupted views over the River Dee to the hills and woods beyond. Activities close at hand include walking, fishing, golf, swimming and even gliding. In the winter, skiing at the Lecht or Glenshee is readily accessible. In the surrounding area there are many gardens and castles to visit, including Balmoral. The choice of restaurants nearby ranges from village pubs to gourmet dining. Shops and pubs 500 yards.

2nd comment: Well appointed with great view from lounge. Fixtures & fittings are of very high standard. Even though attached to house you don’t see the owners. Lovely walk by river on doorstep and down to town. The Boat Inn is in easy walking distance with good food. Oct 2011.

6th comment: The property is perfectly situated for visiting Aberdeen, the east coast and the Cairngorms and all the interesting locations in between. The cottage is spacious, delightfully decorated, comfortable, warm and peaceful, and has a beautiful view. In short... perfect. May 2011.
