This detached holiday bungalow is set in a delightfully peaceful location, surrounded by fields and moorland. The house features an attractive dining room/kitchen with French doors opening on to a small enclosed area of the extensive gardens. The open fields surrounding the house give way to native woodland that is the home of an osprey nest at Loch Garten. The area is renowned for outdoor pursuits. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
All on ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen with French doors and tiled floor. 3 bedrooms: 2 double, one (5ft) with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin. Shower room with toilet.
Open fire in living room (initial fuel inc). Oil CH, elec, bed linen and towels inc. Two digital TVs. DVD. Elec cooker. M/wave. W/machine. D/washer. F/freezer. Part-enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (2 cars). Cycle store. Pet free of charge. No smoking. Easy walking access. NB: Fenced stream beyond garden.

3rd comment: Croftronan is a fabulous base to explore the Cairngorms. The cottage is modern, very clean, spacious and comfortable. There are plenty of walks from the garden including Loch Garten home of the ospreys which is less than 20 minutes away. We even spotted an osprey in the field next to the cottage. We would highly recommend this cottage for a holiday in Scotland. May 2011.
4th comment: The property was perfect. Plenty of space for the 4 of us and with 2 teenage boys it was certainly needed. Fantastically clean property, one of the best we have rented over the years. Wonderful location - nice and peaceful which was what we wanted. Can’t wait to visit again. April 2011.
