Customer Reviews of Easter Gyles, Pittenweem, Fife - Sleeps 4-5

st comment: A very special setting in a quietly interesting part of the world. Feb 2012.

nd comment: The property was perfect for our needs - the location is stunning, it was a real treat to stay so close to the water. The property was very clean, has a well appointed kitchen (we were a group of cooks) and was very warm and cosy. Sept 2011.

rd comment: If you are looking for a holiday home with the sound of the waves crashing against it - this is the perfect place. Pittenweem still has a busy working harbour and is quite unspoilt and uncommercialised as is most of that coastline. June 2011.

th comment: Our two boys (6 and 8 years) spent the whole day playing on the stony beaches outside the cottage. We enjoyed the wonderful views from nearly every cottage window. April 2011.

th comment: We loved the fabulous views of the sea out of so many windows. Feb 2011.

th comment: Everything that could be needed was provided. Fantastic location. If you want sea views consider waking up to one! Aug 2010.

th comment: We chose the cottage because of its position close to the sea. The description on your website was correct. It is a lovely cottage, standing almost with one foot in the firth. We enjoyed it very much. July 2010.

th comment: Its fantastic location and being able to wake to the sound of the sea. It was tastefully furnished. Layout was lovely and made full use of sea views. Lovely village and good access to beautiful walks. July 2010.

th comment: The whole ambience of the property could not of been any better, eventhough the ground floor had been flooded some 4 weeks earlier. The local lady Peggy was extremely helpful. April 2010.

th comment: Excellent property maintained to the highest standard spotlessly clean milk etc left for our arrival. Stunning sea views could only have been closer to the sea if we were afloat. Feb 2010.

th Comment Amazing place to stay (even with a broken dishwasher). Appreciated the fresh flowers and newspaper. Nov 2009.

th Comment Great character house on 3 floors. It was wonderful for us as a family but could be a bit of a strain if walking is difficult as the kitchen is on a separate floor to the dining area which means meals have to be carried upstairs. Similarly, 2 of the bedrooms are up 2 flights of stairs. Oct 2009.

th Comment Excellent location and views. June 2009.

th Comment We wanted peace and quiet and the property was perfect for us. The location is stunning, the village is quiet, and the people are friendly. What more can you ask for? March 2009

th Comment The ’sea views’ are spectacular - especially when it is stormy and the waves crash against the living room windows! March 2008.

th Comment Every holiday cottage we have had have all been very high standard, you get exactly as it says in the brochure and the cleanliness is always first class. Oct 2007.

th Comment Wonderful to listen to the sound of the water, as you sit in the lounge, or lay in bed !! Sept 2008.

th Comment An incredible location. The property is very well equipped. Dec 2008.

th Comment We were very impressed and pleased that what we saw in the virtual photos was exactly what we recieved. The confidence of booking online has now increased. We were initially nervous that what we had seen might not be what we would recieve. Very comforting, clean and affordable, with attention paid to the fine details! March 2006.

th Comment Very pleasant cottage, extremely well stocked with absolutely everything that we nedded. A credit to the owner and caretaker. Oct 2006.
