This charming, unusual apartment forms part of the old Craigwell Brewery, which was established in 1822 and beautifully converted in 1980, winning an RIB Architect Award for the development. On the 1st floor, this apartment has its own distinctive character and is well presented and comfortably furnished, perfect for a family holiday. There is a shared garden which leads up to the Burns Monument at the top of the (steep) stairs. This is well worth the climb as the views are magnificent over the Edinburgh skyline to Holyrood. There is private parking at the property.
Nether Craigwell is situated off Calton Road and under a 10 minute walk to Princes Street, the Royal Mile and Holyrood. All central amenities are within easy reach making this an excellent choice for visitors wishing to make the most of all the city has to offer. For recreation, guests can enjoy the Holyrood Park, which offers diverse scenery of mountains, lochs and wildlife or spectacular walks up to the top of Arthur's Seat, an historic landmark and extinct volcano.
