This attractive detached house sits on a quiet residential road close to the village centre and backs onto the ancient Caledonian pine forest. There are safely enclosed front and rear lawns with a sheltered patio area beside the forest and garden furniture is provided to sit out and fully appreciate the surroundings. The house is deceptively spacious, comfortably furnished and well-appointed for a family holiday.

A path leads through the trees to the golf course. The surrounding Cairngorms National Park offers a wealth of activities including walking, climbing, cycling, angling, riding, winter sports and water sports. The RSPB reserve at Loch Garten is nearby and the whole area is a paradise for ornithologists and wildlife enthusiasts. An ideal base for exploring the Central Highlands, the picturesque fishing villages and beaches of the Moray Firth or the spectacular scenery of Loch Ness and the Great Glen. Nethy Bridge has good local shops and hotels while Aviemore, Grantown-on-Spey and Inverness are all nearby.

Ground Floor: 1 double bedroom, living room with feature fire, dining room, kitchen, utility room, shower room. First Floor: 2 twin bedrooms, bathroom. All electric. Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, 2 televisions, DVD, CD player, payphone. Bed linen and towels provided. Cot and highchair available.

"A truly brilliant, comfortable family home."

5 of 5 stars

I stayed in Nethy Bridge in Easter 2012. The house is a great family home which has absolutely everything a large family need for a very comfortable base. The house is beautifully furnished and the leather sofas in the lounge are just the comfiest place to relax and watch a dvd after a long day. Bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfy; we all slept really well. Kitchen has everything you need, well stocked with pots, dishes etc.and a dishwasher. Tv is good in kitchen!! Utility room is large and has washing machine and tumble drier, also a pully for wet clothes! Garden fab, big and so child friendly backing onto glorious woods. Will be back soon as its a great house for a family break. 10 out of 10 you will not be disappointed :) the grants
