Just over a mile outside the pretty village of Edderton and within easy reach of Tain and Dornoch, the detached house makes a super base for exploring this beautiful part of the Northern Highlands. Local activities include golf, mountain biking, kayaking, river and sea fishing along with many wonderful hill or beach walks. Visit John O’Groats, the Orkney Islands or the Falls of Shin Visitor Centre and the Glenmorangie Distillery. Shop and pub 1.5 miles, restaurant 6 miles.

1st comment: Polgarrie House is surrounded by open countryside which can be viewed from a spacious lounge with panoramic windows. It is quiet and secluded yet only a short drive from the nearest town, Tain, which affords all the services one might require. Polgarrie is ideal from exploring both the coast around the Moray Firth or heading westwards to see the northern western highlands of Scotland. June 2012.
