Customer Reviews of Upper Foyers Apartment, Loch Ness - Sleeps 4

"Great to relax & watch the world go by" 5 of 5 stars The flat is just right for 4 people and very clean. It was good to have no TV, which meant we spent more time as a family. Mobile phone reception was limited, which is good, but my children found it differcult to talk to their Dad. Even my teenager coped with no internet access (Amazing!!!) The common was excellent for 2 of my children and they spent as much time as the weather allowed on the common and play area. The only thing the flat lacked was wardrobe space, but don't let that put you off. A short walk to the local Post Office/shop and the Foyer Falls is a must. We did alot of sight seeing and found this was a central base to reach both ends of Loch. - Sjswonder, Petersfield Aug-2011 "Pilgrimage" 4 of 5 stars My husband's grandparents lived there for many many years and I am happy to say that nothing much has changed, for which I was very grateful. The cottage was fine, although the addition of a washing machine would be a plus. The fact that there was no TV was a definite plus! - Thomas MacDonald, Javea, Spain Nov-2010 "Idyllic" 5 of 5 stars We walked in the front door (which is around the back with a parking space) and our children walked out the back onto the idyllic green (you see pictured) and within minutes were playing a game of Rounders with the other children. Anne who came to meet us was kind and friendly, the place was a good size, clean and very homely the beds were comfortable too. The location is rather remote but it's only a short walk to the water falls and a small shop. There is a real fireplace with fuel and no TV, you could get a phone signal standing on the bump in green- Bliss - DUG, London Nov-2010
