Location Description

Glamis Castle served as the Ancestral home of the Earls of Strathmore for over 6 centuries. The castle which is popular for being the childhood home of the Queen Mother, also served as the setting for Shakespeare's 'Macbeth'. Today, it offers a full programme of events all throughout the year. Location: The valley of Strathmore. 5 miles from Forfar and 12 miles from Dundee.
