Donibristle Castle

House built around 1720 whose wings still exist facing across the Forth. The rest has been in-filled and a new town sprung up on the estate grounds.


The original house burnt down in C16 and Georgian style house erected after 1700. The central section of the house was lost but a restored version has been created and the two wings of the house are original.
