Customer Reviews of Catch A Penny Farmhouse, nr Eyemouth - Sleeps 4-5

st comment: Wonderful views of the sea, directions to get there were a bit misleading and we missed the turning. On top of a hill so even though the pub is only half a mile away it is a bit of a tough walk back up to the house. June 2012.

nd comment: We were very pleased with the house. It was a good size and very comfortable to stay in. Lovely view of the sea. Very handy for travelling around. Although just off the A1 its location means that you’re not aware of the traffic. The house is situated up a quiet lane, just a few houses nearby. Lovely feeling of being in the country. Would def stay there again! Masses to see in the area - would def recommend: Cragside (fascinating history and beautiful grounds), Holy Island, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Bamburgh Castle, Museum of Flight (East Fortune), Chain Bridge Honey Farm (don’t forget to walk across the ’Chain Bridge’ linking Scotland and England). We only had a week - there’s loads more to see both north and south of the border. Tip - think about joining Nat Trust and Historic Scotland/English Heritage - you’ll save a lot of money. Also after year one membership you get free entry to the Scottish and English properties. June 2012.

rd comment: Cottage comfortable but cold great location but not as close to the beach as the picture suggests. April 2012.

th comment: Comfortable property, well-placed for coastal walking and beaches. Could do with a freezer. April 2011.

th comment: We loved the views, you can look out bedroom windows at sea, so peaceful and private but near lovely sea villages and beaches. April 2011.
