Customer Reviews of Glacour Studio Cottage, Muir of Ord - Sleeps 2/3

st comment: My partner was worried that there may be no TV as he is addicted. There is a TV and it proved handy on the 2 wettest days! The pictures do not do this cottage justice - it totally surpassed our expectations. April 2012.

nd comment: A cottage set in outstanding beautiful countryside, very quiet location. Peaceful and relaxing. A lovely way to just chill out from the rest of life! The dog loved the woods and streams, rivers and lochs to play in and the west coast of Scotland is not too far to travel to for a lovely scenic day out. April 2012.

rd comment: The cottage was warm and welcoming. There was everything you needed and very clean. Nov 2011.

th comment: Great location with wonderful wildlife to keep you amused. Fantastic walks in the forest and a great place for dogs. If you like a secluded get away from it all then this is the perfect location. We stocked up on food and spent a great week just in and around the cottage. July 2011.

th comment: The holiday was brilliant, fantastic views and location, being surrounded by dear in the evenings was a real novelty. The cottage was clean and comfortable although the put up sofa bed was the only draw back (roll together problem)!!! but that said we would go back in an instant, it was a truly amazing place just so peaceful. June 2011.

th comment: Fantastic cosy property in a remote and beautiful area. Watching the deer graze on the grass in front of the cottage is sheer joy. We have been here twice and will definitely return. Our latest visit found the cottage refurnished and updated. Very comfortable and totally relaxing. April 2011.

th comment: Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location! Stunning views. Renovated to a good standard. Has the personal touch - complimentary fruit bowl, washing up liquid, towels etc. Our highlight was watching the red deer come to the cottage in the evening - counted 45 one evening. Breathe-taking. March 2011.

th comment: The accommodation was perfect, everything you could need for the week was there like home from home. Nov 2010.

th Comment The property provided us with the ’get away from it all’ holiday that we badly needed. The location and cottage were perfect. Would definitley return again. Oct 2010.

th Comment The accommodation was more than we expected when we got there even from the pictures and accurate description. The cottage and grounds were totally amazing and if you like a get away from it all holiday this is just perfect. The dogs had so much freedom it was doggy heaven. Oct 2010.

th Comment We thought the cottage was briliant, in a superb & beautiful part of the Scottish Highlands. July 2010.

th Comment Far more amazing than what it showed itself to be! Location was spectacular and very remote. Lots of considerate touches from the owner/caretaker. Counting the days untill I can return. June 2010.

th Comment Cosy and clean excellent cottage for those who like the great outdoors peace and quiet. Something we have been looking for a long time. Definitely worth a return visit. May 2010.

th Comment Very quiet! Though a studio, it was well laid out. May 2010.

th Comment The accommodation was ideally situated away from other properties, peaceful with great views and surrounding wildlife, particularly the deer’s which surrounded the cottage every night. The cottage it self, although a studio with no separate bedroom was ideal, bright and airy with every convenience to hand. A great get away cottage. April 2010.

th Comment Ideal for a get away from it all holiday. No mobile coverage so pay phone in property was very useful.Ideal for pets, check for the deer first. Wood stove was superb and wood was restocked in outbuilding when running low.We are trying a Black House in skye in December. Hope its half as good as this was. 100% reccomended. Mar 2010.

th Comment The ’boot room’ at the entrance was ideal for the dogs to stay in, so they did not need to come into the cottage. The fruit basket and fire already laid to be lit was fantastic. March 2010.
