Customer Reviews of Hill Cottage, Skye, sleeps 4

st comment: Enclosed garden was great for the dog, and the sea views were fantastic! Nov 2011.

nd comment: Stunning views. Very self contained and slightly apart from other properties which is good for those seeking a remote property that isn’t isolated. Cottage extraordinarily warm even without wood burning stove as central heating extraordinarily efficient. Entrance hall is reasonably large which is great for discarding outdoor clothes/shoes etc and great for containing the dogs. Garden is large and fenced so again great for dogs. Well-equipped. Only comment would be that the lounge could use a mat or rug in the seating area to make it more cosy. Oct 2011.

rd comment: We really loved the cottage - it was comfortable and clean with a well equipped kitchen. The garden was great for our dog who enjoyed running around in the heather. The views from the cottage windows are fabulous and the cottage is set back from the other houses in the village so you really feel away from it all. I would thoroughly recommend Hill Cottage and would not hesitate to book again. Sept 2011.

th comment: Hill Cottage makes the ideal base for touring Skye, while at the same time providing a sense of having got away from it all. The views over the sound and out toward the Outer Hebridies are fantastic, and there is plenty to do; from walking and fishing in the harbour in Milovaig to fine dinning at The Three Chimneys only a short drive away. July 2011.

th comment: Property has excellent layout internally for 2 groups making up a party as there is one bedroom and one bathroom each end of the cottage. Steep drive could be difficult with small, heavily laden car. Excellent, large, dog proof fenced garden. Probably more suited to active people as lovely walks straight from cottage door, although I could have sat and enjoyed the view from the cottage living room for hours if i was house bound and had binoculars. July 2011.

th comment: We liked the remote location and facilities. Oct 2010.

th Comment Great for our dog. Great views, fantastic position! We have reported the weather good! But in October it can be far from sunny, but being prepared for all weather conditions is recommended. We were, and all days were most enjoyable. Wind, rain or sunshine, you could not but enjoy this beautiful area. Oct 2008.

th Comment The views from the cottage were amazing and the cottage itself was very comfortable. Being able to buy local croft produce from the farmer down the lane was an added bonus as the nearest shop was a couple of miles away. Would not hesitate to return for another holiday. Aug 2008.
