Set on the edge of Chirnside village, 12 miles from the coast, this pretty semi-detached stone-built holiday cottage is furnished in appropriate ‘cottage’ style with a welcoming open fire in the cosy living room and a tiny courtyard garden to the rear. It makes a highly convenient and comfortable base from which to enjoy the Berwickshire and Northumberland Coast. Visit historic Paxton House, bird watch from majestic St Abbs Head, explore the walled Georgian town of Berwick-on-Tweed, or let the train take the strain for a day in Edinburgh, 40 minutes. Shop 0.75 miles, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
