Wonderful river or hill walks from the door, mountain and downhill biking at Glentress and Innerleithen, great independent shopping a 5 minute walk, golf and fishing locally. Shop 300 yards, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

1st comment: One of the best holiday cottages I have used. The cooker is fantastic to cook on, lovely Yorkshire and meat and potatoe pies. A very clean, warm,and comfy cottage and you are welcomed by the owner including a welcome pack we didn’t expect.Location is only 150yds from the centre of Peebles, a large Sainsbury and Tescos within 300 yard walk in opposite directions. Idealy locatated for Galishiels, Edinburgh, [Park and ride at Staines] Jedburgh, Selkirk, etc. Oct 2011.
