Mountain biking on the local forest trails, walking and climbing, water sports, fishing and golf with a challenging 18-hole course in the village are just some of the wide variety of activities. For the less energetic, take a stroll along one of the many beaches of the Moray Firth where you may catch a glimpse of the resident dolphins or meander around some the many picturesque fishing villages. Culloden Battlefield, Loch Ness and the Highland capital of Inverness are all less than an hour’s drive. Further afield, take a trip west to the Isle of Skye, Eilan Donan Castle and NTS Inverewe Gardens or north to the stunning land and seascapes of Sutherland and Caithness – often known as Europe’s last great wilderness. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.25 miles.
