This detached stone-built former crofter's cottage with an open fire for 2 people is in the tiny village of Suladale between the coastal towns of Portree and Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye on the west coast of Scotland.

The Old Cottage was once a traditional crofter's hoose, but it has now been restored with great care and love to become a wonderful coxy and comfortable holiday let in the tranquil wee place of Suladale on the Isle of Skye. The owners have refurbished the cottage to ensure that it stays in keeping with its traditional Scottish character and surroundings, and the attractive accommodation includes a multi-fuel stove in the open plan living area, and a bedroom with four poster bed. Anyone looking for a romantic getaway will find it at The Old Cottage. The owners have created a warm and welcoming holiday cottage which reflects the special magic of the Isle of Skye.

The Old Cottage was beautiful, restful and calming, with stunning surroundings. It provided everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is perfectly situated for touring the the beautiful Isle of Skye, with its amazing scenery and so much too see and do. We loved the cottage so much we stayed two extra days and didn't want to leave and we are hoping to return very soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
