Vetlanda is an unusual, detached wooden property within the Badenoch and Strathspey village of Newtonmore has been furnished and decorated to a very high standard throughout. The charming cottage feels both spacious and cosy; the open-plan living space having been divided between kitchen/diner and sitting-area by a woodburning stove. The property can sleep up to six people in a double and a twin room with an additional sofa bed, and offers great views into the pretty village of Newtonmore, location of the popular TV series Monarch of the Glen. Vetlanda is a great location to take a holiday with both friends and family, at any time of year.

Spacious, fresh scandi style décor, making it an easy and comfortable place to rest in. Warm on a winter's evening and doggy friendly. Great location for exploring all areas of the Cairngorms. A very warm welcome.

Vetlanda was lovely, nicer than the pictures. It was lovely and warm ,and with logs supplied it was not a problem obtaining wood for the fire. Very clean and tidy with everything needed supplied.The position is very good for a holiday in the winter months being close to the A9 and rail connections.We would definitely recommend this cottage to friends and would love to visit again .
