The main reason why I think that a hen weekend in the Scottish Borders is such a great idea is that the large area that is the Scottish Borders means you can really have a very diverse hen weekend. You can partake in just a ton of fun and amazing outdoors activities and events, but at the same time Edinburgh is just so close by that for a wild hen night or some activities in the city so you can make the short trip there and open up your hen weekend to even more activities.
For you ladies who like to go and see some of the amazing historic sites that Scotland has to offer. One such place is the incredible Melrose Abbey. This is a really awe inspiring place and a walk around here will add a wee bit of culture to your hen weekend which let’s face it is never a bad thing.
