Light and airy, with tasteful fittings, it has been finished to an exceptionally good standard throughout. A former dairy, there are reminders in the cottage in the display of original milk bottles found on the site during refurbishment. To make the most out of the area, bringing your own transport is highly recommended.
Set in the heart of the Aberdeenshire countryside, there is much of interest both locally and further afield, with attractive and peaceful scenery, castles, stately homes, beautiful gardens, good walking, cycling, fishing, golfing and on its edge some magnificent beaches and fishing villages within easy reach. The hill range of Bennachie with its variety of walks and cycle trails for all abilities is close by. The busy towns of Inverurie and Huntly with their many shops and restaurants are short drives away, with the city of Aberdeen easily accessible by car or train. Visit Old Aberdeen with its maze of cobbled streets and historic buildings. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
