C & A Holiday Home, Dumfries and Galloway - Sleeps 6

A home from home for all the family to have a fantastic holiday. Pets are welcome. The holiday home comes with fully equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining room, bathroom(ground floor), two double bedrooms (one on the ground floor) and a twin bedroom. With a double bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor it is suitable for people that struggle with stairs. From the living room and upstairs front double/king size bedroom there are spectacular views over Luce Bay and the hills beyond. The back garden is enclosed, ideal for children to play in. Within a hundred yards there is a children's play area with slide, swings etc. There is also a football pitch in close view of the home.
The area is ideal for walking (the beach stretches for seven miles), fishing off the beach in front or many of the good marks off rocks or other beaches in the area is popular. Golfing is available at the many great links courses locally and they are no t oversubscribed. You may be fortunate to see seals basking sharks and many different birds.
Galloway Forest Park has been officially unveiled as the first Dark Sky Park in the UK.
The award, announced by the International Dark Sky Association, confirmed by Galloway as one of the best places for stargazing in the world.
Within the village is a well equipped shop with post office facilities. The Tigh Na Mara public house not only offers excellent Ales but provides from bar snacks to Fine Dining in the separate restaurant. Both are within metres of our holiday home.
We provide child facilities including a cot or travel cot, child gate, games and an enclosed rear garden. We have a wide range of DVDs to keep your family well entertained. The Ryan Centre which is located in the town of Stranraer (6 miles away), provides swimming facilities, cinema and a soft play area.
