Balloch
A charming small village just south of Loch Lomond; popular with boating enthusiasts.
Balloch straddles the river Leven where it flows into Loch Lomond, and Loch Lomond boat trips can be taken from here on the paddle steamer 'Maid of the Loch'. Balloch Castle Country Park is also popular with families.

The Loch Lomond Shores is a retail outlet centre which also houses the National Park Gateway Centre, where you can learn all about the famous loch and its surrounds.
